Dr. Will Bacon is Executive Director of The Verdery Center for Pastoral Care and Counseling - a ministry of the Georgia Baptist Health Care System, Atlanta, Georgia. He received his educations at Mercer University (B.A.), Southern Baptist Theological Seminary (M. Div. and D. Min). His doctoral studies in Pastoral Care and Counseling and did his research project in Family Systems Theory as a Means to Developing a Mission Statement for Snapfinger Road Baptist Church, Decatur, Georgia.
He has served as a pastor and counselor before coming to his present position. He also served with the International Mission Board as a Church Planter in France for three years.
